Our school has joined the Quality Education Fund Thematic Networks-Schools organized by the EDB, and supported by Ho Yu College and Primary School (Sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen) this year. On 6th March, our F.2 students had a chance to get onto the Biotechnology Mobile Laboratory (MobileLab) to participate in hands-on experiments of biotechnology. They have learnt more about the concepts of genetics, and cellular structures of bacterial cells by using a simple method to extract DNA from E. coli cells, and realized that DNA is both visible and tangible.
