F.5 geography students participated in the open class organized by Drainage Services Department and 2 Square Metres to introduce the connection between rivers and communities on 12 Sept, 2021. The helper from Drainage Services Department led us visit Tsui Ping River. Participants were invited to share his/her imagination for a riverside community by constructing lego simulation models. By integrating drainage systems with landscaping and ecological conservation, rivers function beyond drainage channels with improved environmental and social values.
