Guided Tour of CLP E-Playground and STEM Workshop
The programme aims at motivating students to save energy and explore a career in power engineering through a school talk, an online quiz game, and a day camp.
The school talk was delivered in the Friday Function on 7 Oct 2022. In the talk and Q&A session, CLP engineers discussed CLP's operation and explained what their job is like.
After the talk, an online quiz game was conducted to further strengthen students’ knowledge on energy conservation and power engineering. Junior level students eagerly participated and the best 10 contestants were awarded a souvenir from the organization.
The programme culminated in the "Power Journey@E-Playground" Day Camp held in the HKAYP Jockey Club Duke of Edinburgh Training Camp, featuring various challenging activities in power saving and a STEM workshop. A "full-house" of 15 junior level students participated and they all received a commemorative T-shirt as a token of appreciation.
