Art can be enjoyed by everyone – regardless of age, background, or ability.
More than 40 Visual Arts major students participated in the Community Art Programme organized by the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation, and studied the life stories behind people with different abilities, (including Frida Kahlo, Stephen Hawking, Nick Vujicic, and Stevie Wonder, etc.) and to use them as a blueprint for artistic creation. It aims to encourage students to cultivate positive beliefs, learn to overcome difficulties with a positive attitude and enhance empathy through artwork creations to understand equality among people with different abilities and health issues. Their heart-shaped relief artworks and wheelchair accessories designs are now showcased at D.Park, Tsuen Wan, from 1 to 14 March. Join us, to experience a vibrant collection of creations.
