35th Anniversary - Overseas Expedition Cycling in Mongolia
2024-09-13

This summer, a group of enthusiastic students participated in an overseas expedition to Mongolia, funded by the Funding Scheme for International Youth Exchange 24-25, organized by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Youth Development Commission. Since November 23, participants underwent rigorous pre-trip training to prepare for the challenges ahead. The highlight of the journey was an exhilarating five-day bike ride, covering an impressive 150 kilometers through the stunning landscapes of Mongolia.

Throughout the expedition, students immersed themselves in Mongolian culture by participating in various local activities. They learned traditional customs and engaged with local communities, gaining a deeper appreciation for the rich heritage of this remarkable country. In addition to cultural experiences, the students also dedicated time to volunteer work, helping to renovate and paint the walls at the Shineleg Child Development Centre and National Rehabilitation Centre Hospital respectively, leaving a positive impact on the neighborhoods they visited.

This incredible journey would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors, AKIV Sportswear, MT Sportswear, CCN Sport Clothing, Bodybuilding Connection Limited (BC), Pocari Sweat Hong Kong and Banner Shop, who played a crucial role in the expedition. Their support and contributions allowed our students to experience the beauty and culture of Mongolia safe and sound while fostering a spirit of adventure and service.
